Lake Placid, you've probly never heard of it, lol

Based on past conversations (mostly whartonalum):

1) completely random
2) Just school, name, etc. Nothing academic.
3) Not informal, not formal. Absolutely no: jeans, suits, t-shirts. Think casual polo and slacks. WA can clear u up on this. It's posted elsewhere, u could search for it.

HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA

we JUST played your varsity soccer team yesterday!!!!!!!

LO frickin L

talk about small world ;)

thats really weird..

when i went to taiwan over the summer.. i bumped into a random guy on the streets and i apologized.. he asked if i was american (apparently my accent gives it away??) so i said yea.. he asked me where i was from so i said a suburb north of boston.. and then he proceeded to ask which.. turns out he graduated from my high school a decade ago and we bump into each other in a city halfway across the world.. go figure

small world indeed

haha, awesome story.

I don't know if you guys are familiar with him, but a CEO of the Blackstone group, Stephen Schwarzman, graduated from my high school. He donated $1 million+ or so to our new football stadium (and now it's called the Schwarzman stadium), and he visited our high school when he was inducted into our school's hall of fame. I think he's one of the top 100 richest people in America (according to Forbes) now.. wow.. I didn't think someone so successful could come from OUR school! His story was also very inspirational.

wow i think the most famous guy from my high school is the manager of the mcdonalds in town centre..

i wish my parents had stayed in philly (yup yup.. i was born in philly.. and conceived just blocks from the admissions office.. destiny?? i hope so!)

I think our high school is just lucky to have had successful alumni. The creator of Bose stereos and Bob Saget went to my school as well.

the guy who made bose is straight from india bro (hence the indian name)

what do they ask you in the interviews?

O, I'm probably wrong about the Bose things, but I think someone successful in the Bose companies went to our school (not certain, but my friend kept telling me this for some reason). But Bob Saget definitely went to our school!

did anyone apply to a joint/accelerated program thing

lishnik - I PMed you - let me know if you don't receive the message.

diane.. i applied to huntsman (not that ill get in.. but what the heck)

yeah i applied for that too. i'm basically asking for a rejection

the most famous graduate of our high school is pro bowl cornerback and former eagle troy vincent.

the most famous graduate from my high school will probably be me, since i am jusxt about the only person attending a college that isnt CU Boulder

the famous graduates from my highschool: nicholas cage, angelina jolie, lenny kravitz, other celebs and...dun dun dun...monica lewinsky <-- yea, we're not too proud of that one lol
