for Physics, PennState, UVa or UWisconsin?

for Physics, which is the best: PennState, UVa or UWisconsin?

it's for my friend

Wisconsin.......................Good connections to Fermi Labs

I presume you are speaking Madison when using Wisconsin??

If you're interested in general relativity, Penn State is second only to Caltech and MIT. It's also excellent in astrophysics.

I'd say Wisconsin. UVA (where's I'm going, to major in physics, haha) is a good school, but it isn't terribly strong in sciences. Penn State is an OK school, but I think its strength in physics would be more apparent at the graduate level, and that Wisconsin would provide a better undergraduate experience.

THANK YOU ALL!:)

and yes, i meant UW-Madison

UW-Madison has an awesome physics program and their other sciences are very, very good.

While aimed at prospective grad students, this brochure provides a great overview of the UW programs and facilities.
