<p>Elon’s ED admit rate the past few years has been over 80% - one of the highest I am aware of. So - an ED applicant has a great chance of being admitted - particularly if your grades and test scores are in the mid-50% range - but 20% of ED applicants do get deferred or denied - so there is certainly no guarantee.</p>
<p>I would generally recommend to any student who is applying ED to also submit at least 1 or 2 rolling or early action applications - just in case. But if you are saying that you have not done so yet - you may just want to wait at this point. If you do get a deferral or denial on 12/1 - you still have time to submit rolling applications or RD apps with January or February deadlines.</p>
<p>However, if there is a school you like with a 12/1 application deadline - why not get it ready to go - just in case.</p>
