For the common app, do you put grade 11 courses in the grade 11 section or courses taken in grade 11

Like I stated in the question, I was wondering whether I am supposed to state the corresponding grade level courses for the given grade level or the courses taken during the given grade level.

Ex: Do I put grade 12 math in the grade 12 section if I took it in grade 11 or do I put it in the grade 11 section since I took it in grade 11?

You Li st the classes you took in each year. That’s how they will appear on your transcript. You are overthinking.
