For those of us who drink beer to enjoy beer

Okay, I'll be honest- I love beer. No, I don't drink every day (maybe once a week if that), and I don't drink more than one or two in a sitting. However, I love a good beer. I don't like hard alcohol that much, the sulfites in wine give me a headache, and stuff like Zima...well, I have dignity.

So, for those of us who actually enjoy beer for its unique properties and taste, what's your favorite?

As far as bottle beers go...
I enjoy Kirin Ichiban as far as dinner beers go, Guinness if I'm just having beer.

Somewhat less mass-produced...
Jeremiah Red, served at BJ's, is a fantastic somewhat mass-produced beer, in my opinion.

And microbrews...
I went a place once in Santa Barbara that had the best microbrew I've ever tasted. Too bad I can't remember the name...

Anyone else enjoy a good beer, and enjoy it not to get drunk?

I like some beers, some of the generic stuff tastes like arse. I'd say my favorite is Newcastle.

I'm the same way with beer, I drink it for the flavor, not to get drunk.

My favorite beer (not so much in a bottle, but it's still good) is Guinness. Take a trip to Ireland sometime and try it there, it's great.

In a bottle I like Negro Modelo. As far as microbrews, I think what you're thinking of is Santa Barbara Brewing Company, they have a pretty good restaurant and good beer.

i would say heineken. i never liked beer until i tasted it.

and my uncle's micro brewed beer, its so sweet and good! he grows all his own grains and stuff.

I HATE being drunk to be honest... However I love the taste of beer! I'm actually a fan of Coors Light, or Miller High Life, both are very good!

My favorite drink however is Smirnoff Triple Black, those things are awesome!

great call on newcastle whoever said that.

in all honesty, in college all we drink is natty. if we have more money we will get coors.

There aren't any places near why I live (at least I don't know of any) that sell the good quality stuff, so I have to stick to mass produced beers. I typically stick to MGD, Miller Lite, Budweiser, and Stroh's. Of these 4, I prefer ice-cold MGD on tap but I rarely go to bars. I stay away from stuff like Heineken and Guiness. I think those are absolutely terrible.

For summertime or hot days Corona or Pacifico... For cold days or wintertime Sierra Nevada Pale Ale and BIGFOOT

Smithwick's Irish Ale... anyone have it before? If not, I suggest you do. Moosehead is good too.

Caffrey's Irish Ale for me.

Newcastle, Bass, Becks, Guinness, and Harp are my favorite tasting beers.

kronnenberg...im not sure if they have it here, i had it in england

Tier I: newcastle, boulevard (local stuff), guinness draught and stout, heineken dark,

Tier II:bud, bud light, coors
Tier III: natty, natty ice, bud ice, etc.
Tier IV: Keystone

Bud on tier 2? hmmm maybe 2 & a half hahaha. keystone is pure ****water tho. You got that right. I personally like Rolling Rock but I haven't drank any expensive or heavy beers yet so yeah . .. I got a while for beer research this summer.

Tier IV: Haufbauer, Haufbaur Ice (4.99 for a 12 pack), Pabst

P.S. I like Keystone light

Stella, hands down.

She's always the prettiest lady at the party.

tiers are pretty accurate....theres a pretty big gap between one and two

also pabst should be like tier 20...

i hate beer! it tastes like poop.

Natty should be tier MCVX. That stuff is terrible! I like a little bit more alcohol with my water.
