visiting and money

Lately, my parents and I have been arguing about visiting campuses. All my colleges are in New England and I live in Florida..pretty much they're only going to let me visit Dartmouth(bc Dartmouth is paying). I've basically created a rubric for each college and which ever has the highest score wins. lol.

The binding ED agreement.

I've already decided. It came down to Hope, Bowling Green, and Michigan State. I visited MSU and disliked everything about the school and the campus. I visited Hope and it was very christian and I'm an Athiest. I visited Bowling Green and I liked it, and they have good english and journalism programs. So, I chose bowling green.

i got in 4 for 4 already, but i already know which one i'm going to. one of them is my top 3 school, so unless i get into my top choices, i'm going.

so basically i ranked them all.

Financial aid package and whichever school wooes me the most in the next month

A combination of visiting and financial aid. If I can't get Case Western to negotiate my financial aid, then I'll go to Miami (Ohio). The three others I've been accepted to are pretty much out of consideration with my great miami financial aid packet I got today.

I've visited Miami but not Case. I'll be visiting them each once during April. To put it simply, my heart says case, my mind and parents' wallets say Miami.

8 for 8! but my most important factors are distance from my family (i don't want to leave them haha us Italians are tight) and of course money money money... so ill go where i got the full ride (also 20 mins from my house)

It is all atmosphere for me. I hope I get into princeton though =D because it is good and pretty, but I'll still have to go get a "feel" for it.

It's mostly about the money. I mean, if the difference is small, then I'll have to think more. But if one of my Top 3 offeres 3, 4, 5 thousand more than any other, I have an easy decision.

hey everyone my dad came through surgery fine and the doctors say they expect a 100% recovery. They did an angiography scan and found no aneurysms. So a blood vessel ruptured, but he had no aneurysms. My dad's gonna live. Thanks for the prayer.

that's great news! i wish you the best of luck choosing your college.

I am a prestige whore.

Vibe all the way

Thank god Rbase. Best of luck =)

Rbase, glad that your dad is ok.

well one was only my safety. and one was my dream college. so obviously......

RBase:

That is fre....king awesome! :)

My Mom and Grandmother were both diagnosed with cancer when I first stared looking for colleges. It definately changed my perspective on many things.

Way to go about Morehouse.
IB.

whichever one i like the most when i visit again
