For those still pending for UCLA

<p>Ok, so I'm sure most (or all) of us have our application IDs memorized by now. And we have to keep waiting and waiting (and then to add to that, we have Berkeley's decisions next Friday...)... so I'm interested in who I'm up against for this last bit of apps (since "most" decisions have been released by now). People who are still waiting: stats??? this might be kind of repetitive (posting our stats everywhere), but lets kill some time and size up the competition!</p>

<p>for me:</p>

<p>Major: Political Science
GPA: 3.95 (damn A-!)
EC: work 2 jobs, internship (though not related to major), PTK, honors program, director of non-profit organization
Essay: hmm.. 8-9/10 in generally, probably 7-8/10 for UCLA (because it is sort of berkeley-friendly)
Pre-reqs: all but 1
No TAP
Other schools applied to: UCD, UCB, UCSD, UCSB (accepted to SD & SB, pending otherwise)
Possible Reason for still pending: I changed my IP coursework about 1 1/2 weeks ago.</p>

Major: History Alternate: Philosophy
GPA: 3.31
EC: Volunteer work @ V.A Medical center, clubs in H.S, work, dean’s honor roll.
Essay: I’d say 8-8.5/10
TAP
I also changed my IP coursework during the end of march.</p>

<p>im curious, don’t TAP applicants received priority considerations? If so, shouldn’t we be amongst the first batch to receive our decisions?</p>

<p>i wish i knew about TAP before… i only learned about it when a berkeley rep came to my campus last month</p>
