<p>I don't think you can, unless it is your only chance to apply for the merit scholarship, in which case I would call the school, but you probably could.</p>
<p>Overseas universities that have a pre-December deadline do not conflict with SCEA, so I don't think the scholarship would...</p>
<p>UChicago's merit scholarships have nothing to do with EA as far as I know. You would not be able to apply to both Yale and Chicago early.</p>

<p>The only other schools SCEA-ers can apply to are rolling admissions schools (actually I'm not quite sure whether it's ALL rolling admissions schools or just public schools...nor do i really know whether there are any private institutions that have rolling admissions, but i'm assuming there are.) </p>
