For Transfer: HS Transcript Not Received on Time?

Hi,

I applied for transfer fall 09.

I couldn't do the interview, which probably made me ineligible anyway (I sent them an e-mail explaining my mistake, but nothing so far), but another thing:

Apparently, things went wrong with the high school program I was enrolled in (I was only enrolled in this independent study program, didn't really go to high school), and I think the transcripts/reports didn't arrive on time. On my Wellesley application page it says it hasn't been received, and Boston College e-mailed me about it so I had it resent. And:

Please note that all missing information must be received by March 27 in order for your application to be reviewed.

I will probably call Wellesley tomorrow to ask about this, but do you think there's no hope for me anymore? :(

Be optimistic! Call them to ask just to make urself peaceful. and it’s possible that they dont have time to update banner web while they may already have ur HS transcripts.
Good luck!

I called them and the lady who answered the phone was SUPER NICE. Now I REALLY want to go. Haha. ;)

I left a message for someone in charge…the lady who answered the phone told me to send an e-mail, but I already did…keeping my fingers crossed…

It should be okay. Wellesley gave me around two weeks of extension time for my ACT scores when they didn’t get it by the date on the website. Their office is so helpful!

You should be fine. The admissions office is very understanding about these things. When I applied in high school, one of my teachers sent in his recommendation letter really late and my application was actually reviewed with one rec letter, and I was still admitted.

Good luck!!

^ Well that means you are that eligible! :)

I don’t really expect to get in, my stats are not good enough, but just wishful thinking…hehe.
