For more information, I’m keyed in on U of Alabama . I’m a Computer Science and MIS double major. 2.6 overall, 2.87 at my current college. Last year I’ve achieved a 3.0 GPA. I have 2 other colleges on my transfer credits. My GPA actually was terrible my first 2 years of college about 5 years ago but the last 2-3 years it’s been about a 2.85-3.0. My Gen Ed courses were mainly As and Bs. Physics, Data structures, Stats , Chemistry is what really wrecked by GPA. That being said, I’ve applied to U of A MIS program and it says 60+ credit hours 2.5 GPA for admission to the program and I have above that especially the last few years. The first 2 years of my college experience sucked, I dropped out, worked for 1.5 years then went back and have been pretty good ever since in difficult courses. I did mark I’m a permanent resident of Alabama because I’m moving there with my fiance.
