My son has been accepted into Fordham undergrad Business program. We are non citizens living legally in the US. Fordham has given us no financial aid.-- my son has 4.01 WGPA, 1360 ACT and attended top American public high school in NY, Other schools we have applied to have provided upwards of 5-25K scholarship.
Any non citizens, living in the USA , have any success with Fordham scholarship, grants or financial and how?
What is your son’s immigration status? If he has a green card, he can file the FAFSA, and Fordham should treat him as a US applicant. If he has a different status that doesn’t allow him to file the FAFSA, then he is treated as an international applicant for financial aid. Does Fordham state anything on its website about aid for international applicants? Start there.

Fordham’s scholarship page suggests that the “big” scholarships are tied to SAT scores (above 1460), major (theater), or external recognition (National Merit Semi Finalist). Fordham also offers athletic scholarships. From what you have written here, your son may have not been a candidate for any of them.
Since Fordham does not offer need-based financial assistance to students who don’t qualify for federal financial aid, your son would have not gotten money through that route either.
More generally speaking, applicants hoping for scholarships do best at universities where their SAT scores exceed the 75th percentile of the student body. Fordham’s 75th percentile SAT score is 1410.
Finances are very crucial. It is very expensive too. Fordham’s business program is top-ranked. Catholic universities reputable to provide generous awards. I think Fordham’s discount rate is closer to 50%. I would suggest appealing, if you have a good case. Most of the admits (~95%, I think) get some form of financial aid. Big decision are ahead for you.
Average SAT scores went up for this year’s class. The average SAT this year was just under 1400 ( 1394 I believe - but don’t remember exactly). So even a 1410 wouldn’t put a student in the top 25%
