Hi, I am a current High School Senior and was just curious to see if anyone on here is currently majoring in a language? Feedback from juniors and seniors would be greatly appreciated, but I'm cool with freshman and sophomores as well :) I would like to know what language you're majoring in and what do you plan to do with that major after college? Would it be possible to continue onto Law School with a foreign language degree? And what about double majoring in foreign languages? Is that possible? As of now I would like to go into the Foreign Service, so I'm thinking of majoring in Arabic and French and minoring in International Relations? And if that doesn't work out I guess my "backup" would be Law School. So yeah any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Isn’t this basically the same question you asked a couple of days ago?:

Except now it’s French instead of Arabic.

I have given my advice on this topic many times here on CC.
If you’re interested, you can search back and take a look.

Very short version:

Foreign service = well rounded.

Foreign service ≠ languages and International Relations.
