Foreign language placement exam time duration

<p>Do they let you go if you finish the exam early? I noticed that the time schedules on the website show e.g. 10-12PM, 10-1PM, etc. </p>

<p>One of the placement exams conflict with a class I have: Placement exam goes from 10-1 and I have a class at 12 that day. </p>

<p>Also, how long do these exams usually take? I already signed up for the korean placement exam which is from 10-12 (kinda risky with a class I have that starts at 12 on the same day) and I'm thinking about signing up for the japanese placement exam which is supposed to end at 1 but I have a class that starts at 12..</p>

<p>Any help would be really appreciated.</p>

<p>I think the Asian language placement exams for this quarter are before instruction begins. Instruction begins on September 27th. Do you still have the conflict?</p>

<p>Oh, I guess there won’t be a time conflict then. I thought since the quarter begins on the 24th, classes would also start then.</p>
