foreign language requirements ????

<p>If one takes only two years of a foreign langauge (Spanish), does it have a negative impact in college admissions?</p>

<p>I took Spanish 1 frosh year, but due to schedule constraints, (I opted for 2 science courses, one of them AP) I could not fit it in.
I decided to make up for this by taking Spanish at the the community college, but I think this only counts as 2 years total, sometimes 3 because the college condenses highschool Spanish 1 and 2.</p>

<p>By the way, I am bilingual (not in Spanish of course).</p>

<p>Being bilingual would be more impressive then a particular number of years of any foreign language taken in HS, in my opinion, as long as you make sure you mention it in your ap.</p>
