So I swear I proofread my essay but I must have missed these two things...
"The only way fix this problem was..." (I meant to put a "to.")
And "I am grateful not in spite of things, but because of them." (I meant "these things.")
Is this really bad? I've submitted the application to my two safety schools but not to my reaches, but it doesn't matter as I can't change it once I've submitted it to one school.
I've gotten great praise on the essay overall. Should I be freaking out about this? Is this grounds for them to reject me? I mean if I don't make any errors in my supplement essays, which I haven't uploaded yet, would they forgive those two errors?

you can change it. i can’t be bothered right now but search around for “making alternate versions of the commonapp” and it’ll come up. I have 4 versions myself.

THANK YOU!!! You’re my new favorite person.

I wouldn’t bother. Two words? Forget it. I bet the number of word perfect applications a school receives in a year could be counted on two hands. It’s not going to hurt your chances at all.

I had two spelling errors on my EC answer, and it didn’t hurt my application. I truly wouldn’t worry; you’re human, and the adcoms know that. If it was many errors, maybe, but two? Not worth trying to fix.

yikes. i hate doing that
