Forgot to say YES to Need Based Scholarships in Common Applications - UNC CHapel Hill

Hello,

I submitted the Common Application for Transfer to UNC Chapel Hill on 15th February. But today I found out that I forgot to tick YES to the following questions.

Do you intend to apply for need-based financial aid? _ Yes _ No
Do you intend to apply for merit-based scholarships? _ Yes _ No
Do you intend to be a full-time student? _ Yes _ No
Do you intend to enroll in a degree program your first year? _ Yes _ No
Do you intend to live in college housing?______________________________
What is the highest degree you intend to earn? _________________________

My main worry is that I kept the need based and merit financial aid blank even though I am supposed to say YES. I kept it completely blank accidentally. I have already submitted my CSS Profile and FAFSA to UNC Chapel Hill on 1st February because I expected need based financial aids. I know that applications cannot be changed once submitted. But is there any way that I can still be considered for the financial aids? I have already submitted all the financial aid documents. It’s just that I forgot to say YES in the actual application. What do you think I should do? Is there absolutely no chance that I still get considered for financial aids?

Thanking you,
Shadowcat

You should call the admission office and ask them to amend your app.

Thank you for the quick reply. I checked the common application for again. Apparently, UNC Chapel Hill do not require those information. That’s why they showed up as blank when I viewed the whole the application after submitting it.
I am glad I didn’t mess up. Once again, Thank you
