I can think of the distance formula, midpoint formula, and finding the slope. What other formulas not provided should you already know?

Harmonic motion comes in handy when you need to find the average speed over a distance.

2xy/x+y

Also, combinations and permutations can come in handy. These should be easy if you have a calculator.

Combinations: order doesn’t matter
Permutations: order does matter

^ These get really confusing sometimes though…

What are the basic rules and formulas one need for geometry?

Definitely Pythagorean Theorem. a^2+b^2=c^2

That alone solves MANY problems.

Wow really? That looks more like the formula for doing cos, sine, and tan… not those complex geometry stuff I’m seeing, I don’t understand geometry.

I also noticed that there a couple of function questions that you would need to understand translations for.

A helpful way to solve for the problems where there are 2 sets of values, and you have to find the intersection of those 2 values is:

Total Number of members = Number of members in Group 1 + Number of members in Group 2 - Number of members common between the two.

You can just plug in the values that they give you to solve for any of the 4 terms.
