<p>I have noticed that this USC forum has been dying down substantially in the past few days. I guess everybody is somewhat getting over the stress of getting in. I know Stressedout is happy about getting into NYU, but I haven't heard from Scarlet or Postal recently.</p>
<p>I think it's just tonight.. everyone's overwhelmed because UCSD decisions are out :) </p>
<p>I think many California kids are dying to hear back from other UC schools which will be coming out by the end of next week...</p>

<p>to drop off a letter to update them on how i'm a finalst for the bank of america achievement award (i sent them a previous letter along with my midyear grades talking about how i was nominated for that competition, i was interning with a sports production team etc.)</p>
<p>it made me so sentimental... it is sooo beautiful there and the weather was absolutely perfect, gosh it'll really suck if i don't get in :[</p>
<p>ooh and ya i generally don't post friday or saturday nights cause i'm usually out ;]
and last night i was at my friend's orchestra concert and then i had to do hw when i got home

<p>well i applied as international studies... since i am sorta interested in it... i was thinking about changing major after i get in, lol but i guess it doesn't matter for the admission decision since they don't care about which major you applied to</p>

<p>ahh. well honestly, just think of it this way. wherever you get in, it's where you're meant to go. i mean, my friend got rejected from sd but got into la, which was a shame because his number one was sd... but he says he's really happy at la and doesn't know if he'd have as much fun at sd. all the people i know are really happy at the colleges they're at.</p>

maybe i should write an appeal... but it wouldn't matter anyway cuz i probably wouldn't be able to go there... since i have uci... and it is only 8 ranks lower than sd</p>
<p>i don't know.. i personally wouldn't appeal. i just figured, if it wasn't meant to be the first time, what are the chances the second time around?</p>
<p>i mean, getting rejected might suck really bad at the moment, but who knows in the future. going to your 2nd choice or 3rd choice might be the best choice of your life :)</p>
