Hey, I am just finishing up my Foundation year. I saw in an earlier thread that some people were a bit skeptical about the Foundation program and its outcomes, but I'll tell you that it was completely worth it when I got that phone call from my Congressman's Office saying I have received my appointment. Just like any other post-high school path, the year was very nerve-wracking and full of anxiety, but when I look back at this year, it went by so fast.

I sent in my acceptance of the appointment on Saturday, so I am just waiting for them to send me the "Permit to Report" stuff. Anyone know roughly how long it should take for them to process my acceptance and mail it out to me? I can't wait to get out there in June!

If anyone has any questions about the Foundation Program, I'd be happy to help.

CONGRATS! Another awesome Plebe to be! Wish I could answer your questions but.... I dunno. I truly hope you'll hang out here to answer some of ours. You're gonna look great in whites! :)
Good luck to you!!

Thank you. I attended Western Reserve Academy. The Foundation is such an awesome program. Your son will be in a lot of good company there at NMMI- thats where a lot of Foundation students go. There was only 2 of us at WRA this year. Your son will be fine as long as he performs well in the academics (which is the #1 priority), and keeps participating in athletics and extracurriculars, and doesn't get it any trouble. I wish him the best of luck.
