Perhaps there should be a crime index factored into the USNWR rankings.
Since the original crime occurred more than two years ago, maybe JHU needs a break from this old thread.
Yes, I was also wondering why this was being brought up 2 years later. Another " let’s stir the pot for no good reason’" post, IMHO.
This thread is ridiculous, Johns Hopkins has never made a list ranking most dangerous college campuses (but Harvard and MIT have) and plus most parents who post on these threads need not worry because the odds of their children getting accepted are against them anyway. All is good

I’m sure duke (armed robberies at duke gardens), upenn (campus shootings and murders on campus), MIT (campus violence), harvard (rape in harvard yard and stabbings), Yale (new haven lol) , WUSTL (st.louis), Uchicago (south side of Chicago with murders surrounding) would bode very well for the schools. There are few top schools in great areas - Stanford not withstanding.
