Frat Parties

Whoa whoa, so my girlfriend is coming next weekend, so I can’t just say she is my girlfriend?

if its small no one will care. if its big enough to be registered and has security they really dont care who you are or who she is. if youre friends with a brother there they can sometimes help.

I understand the no IC or random people sentiment, but like if she’s with me and I’ve got my ID an she has her ID from her school in the South wouldn’t that be fine? It’d be obvious she’s not from around here.

you might get away with it if its some random frat without a big crowd trying to get in, but the security guys are usually pretty big a**holes about it even if it makes sense for someone to get in

it depends on the security people. They can be quite strict at times and it appears they’ve gotten much stricter since the last time I’ve been on campus.

Hmm. So for homecoming weekend. You think well have trouble getting her into a party?

probably not much trouble getting into A party, but maybe some trouble getting her into the precise party you want

Haha. I’m not too terribly picky. As long as there’s a good time I’m happy.

Homecoming weekend there usually aren’t many parties at all.

A significant amount of alumni come back that weekend and all the frats have Frat Alum parties.

Good luck finding one.

the parties here are all right so far. i don’t see why people obsess over them, though; there’s nothing really special about them. Maybe, because of the way pop-culture has depicted them as “the cool place to be”. Idk, i partied some in high school too, so i guess i’ve grown out of it a little bit.

^^ So what does everyone do homecoming weekend then if there aren’t any parties?

there are parties homecoming weekend. theres already a big one on the calendar for saturday night

Calendar? Where is this calendar you speak of? Or is it just a figurative thing? I get all my info by word of mouth. haha.

its figurative.

That’s what I thought… Just wanted to make sure I wasn’t missing something that important. Haha.

Anyone know which frats are hosting parties tonight?

I know that there is a white party tonight. Is it the huge one at SAE?

I’ve heard conflicting reports that it may be tomorrow night. Wouldn’t swear to it though.

the korean frat is hosting a party

Ummm. I don’t think there is a Korean frat.

^Maybe he means Pi Delta Psi? I think it’s an Asian fraternity, not just Korean. :p
