Fraternities

How time-consuming is the pledging process for the average professional fraternity? I'm thinking of rushing beta alpha psi or theta tau next semester (haven't really decided or anything; I'm an engineering major, but I'm interested in business), and I'm taking 18 units, 12 of them technical. I'll be applying to part-time internships and/or research, which will probably be around 10-15 hrs/wk. Is it worth it to rush/pledge?

Thanks.

Not sure about either of those, but I know a few people who rushed Delta Sigma Pi and it took up SO much time…most of their weeknights were spent doing stupid **** for that frat, trying to figure out when they could get their homework done. None of them had very difficult class schedules (probably 1 technical class each).

Basically, if the process for your prospective frats is anything like DSP, I’d advise against it with your current schedule.

yeahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh
