Hey Guys

I am transferring as a junior to USC this fall, and I am looking into rushing in the fall semester. I did my research but still cannot cut down the list of frats that intrigue me. Im looking for a frat that i can party with but also has a good network base for my future.

I have a few questions and was wondering if I can get some suggestions on ideal frats as well:

Are top tier frats race specific? I saw pictures and most frats only have white males, but I might be wrong

I dont heavily drink alcohol, how does that effect my chances when rushing?

My intentions for joining a frat is to make friends, network, have a good time, and most important experience the college life to the fullest.

If you guys can throw me what some suggestions before I start rushing, I would really appreciate it.

I would advise NOT researching the frats much before rushing. Go in with an open mind and get a real feel for where you feel like you would belong without any preconceived prejudices. In the end, it’s not really going to matter which frats are “top tier” if you’re miserable there and don’t gel with the guys. All the frats will have good networking connections if you make real friends there anyway! Good luck!
