I have been studying using the Barron's Literature book for the SATII.
It goes into a lot of detail on terms and rhyme scheme and rhythm etc. There are probably 30 terms I have never even heard of before! (Uh Oh)

My school doesn't have AP english or anything like that, so it may be just me...But is the actual test so specific?

i took it in may with a quick glance (really quick…open and close book) at an AP prep book…

…basically there aren’t many “terms” per se other than like “tone” “diction” but those should be obvious. what you won’t find on more than 1-2 questions tops: chiasmus, etc, etc, that those books emphasize.

it’s like a much harder, more archaic version of SAT CR. Personally, the SAT readings were really interesting and okay to read-but even I struggled with the meaning of some of the SAT II Lit questions. I got an 800 on CR, and 750 on SAT II with 2 omits (i omitted one literary term i wasn’t able to identify, and one from a poem i didn’t understand)
