My dream school was Harvard. My 2nd choice was Yale. I got into and then attended my 3rd choice, Johns Hopkins University. However, after touring various schools on college road trips and discussing things with undergrads there, I actually wish that I would have applied to Brown as my 1st choice. And after hearing the many complaints at Harvard, I would no longer want to go there as an undergrad. My daughter is a HS Senior, and her wish list in order is: Yale, Brown, Princeton, Columbia, Duke. She has actually applied to 12 schools in total, but she will hear from Yale first in December. My advice is to visit the campuses and then talk to undergrads and not just to those who offer the tours… and then decide. Best of luck to all of you applicants!

I honestly think I would go to the same college I actually picked… Northeastern.
It really does have everything I wanted in a college, I have had fantastic opportunities, got a national award for my research, and have the greatest friends. I also have the greatest friends and love Boston. I honestly can’t think of anything that I would gain in my college experience by going anywhere else, including an Ivy League, even for free. There’s nothing they could have done to prepare me better for graduate school, and I wouldn’t swap the experiences I’ve had here for anything. Sure, I might have gotten into an Ivy League if I applied, but I enjoy being a pretty big fish in a slightly smaller pond. They put my picture all over the website!

Harvard, because… it’s Harvard…

Oxford - All Souls

But even with guaranteed admission I’d take the notorious All Souls admission exam just for fun. :)

Well, since my wife went to graduate school there and we lived in graduate student housing for 4 years, I’m going to say…Stanford! What an amazing place that is.

Yale! I"m not applying because I have no chance but I love the school

Northeastern. I loved it so much when I visited, it was just perfect for me in every way. I hope I can get in and receive good financial aid.

Mine is probably different every time I think about it, but at the moment, Columbia. No, Stanford. No, MIT. crap.

Amherst. Best liberal arts school in the country. Work hard, play hard!

Princeton :D

Stanford possibly. UCLA maybe ($$ being the issue currently). Northwestern would be up there too.

Vanderbilt undergrad (where I’m applying ED) because of Peabody College! It’s amazing! I want to go to Brown for med school because I love the location, the people, and all the resources available there.

Best post on here lol. I like how you typed it with confidence!

The UCLA film school, all the way through a masters degree (maybe even a doctorate). I would be weeping with joy.

MIT, no contest for me. I loved it when I visited, and I would probably trade my firstborn child to go there. That said, that wasn’t a question on the application. Too bad…

All things considered, probably Columbia.

Haha, If only we could change the apps.

Same here.

Stanford for sure

Howard University. Historically black (I am strong race advocate). Even though I am physically caucasion I want to integrate into the black community.
