<p>I am looking to apply for opportunities where I can travel to China and learn Chinese during the summer. The only program that I know of currently is CLS Program which provides for travel, housing, and board. However, it requires 2 years of Chinese level study and I only have one. </p>
<p>Are there any others?</p>

<p>It’s Taiwan-based, not mainland China. I had a 3-month scholarship a few years back. I studied at National Taiwan Normal University. The scholarship covers fees and room and board (just), but you’ll have to pay for flights yourself.</p>
