Free-Response Questions (hand-writing question)

Sometimes, after hand writing nearly the entire solution to a free-response question, a student will realize they need an extra “chunk” of code inserted between existing lines which simply can’t be squeezed in. Does the student need to erase and start over, or can they write the code at the bottom of the page, and then CLEARLY indicate where it is intended to be inserted in the original answer? (either with arrows, or some other kind of symbols)

Thank you, I know it is a very particular question.

That one.

Agreed. As I noted in the other thread … as long as we readers can figure it out, it’s fine. But don’t overdo it; if you’re using more than one set of arrows, then you should probably erase and start over.
