So I've talked to a few people and they all tell me that during medical school, you have no free time whatsoever, none, zip. Is this true? Are all 365 days of the year completely spent studying while in medical school? Are there any breaks for holiday's, etc. like there are in college or no? Thanks!

We still get Thanksgiving and Christmas off but not Veteran’s Day or Labor Day, etc.

There will be some free time. You can still watch your favorite TV shows or go to the gym but you will likely have less free time than in college. How much free time you’ll have will depend on how smart you are, how efficient you are at studying, and what specialty you want to enter into. I personally spend all of Friday and most of Saturday with my gf (ie no studying) and I’m doing just peachy.

Oh nice. I want to be surgeon so I’m not sure if that will increase or decrease my free time but I get what you’re saying. I hope i can get Friday’s and Saturday’s off haha!
