Fresh out of high school, should I take the October 2011 LSAT?

Since I don't go to high school in the US, I've graduated from high school already and am looking forward to going to college in the US this September. I've been accepted to a few places, but I'm not sure where I will go just yet...

However, having nothing to do, I've taken a job which involves me having to sit in at every LSAT class where I work. I haven't taken a diagnostic test (although I do proctor them) but I study along with the class and don't fall behind. The LSAT teacher, who got me this job, told me he thinks I will score between 155 and 165 if I took a test now.

I was planning to self-study and take three AP tests this May (Psychology, Eng Lang, Eng Lit) but my LSAT teacher is encouraging me to take the October LSAT. I've already spent money on buying prep books for AP, but I also have all the LSAT material I need. I don't think I can handle studying for both, because I work from 9 in the morning to 8, sometimes 10 at night, and I fear that I would screw up both the AP tests and the LSAT.

I contracted for the summer, which means I will be taking 2-3 LSAT classes per day, 5 days of the week, every week from April to July. Since I am already working (and have been working for about a month now) that means I have 4-5 months of solid LSAT studying and class-taking, if I decide not to take the AP tests.

Would it be better to take the October test while my memory is still fresh from the summer, instead of taking it in college? Or should I just take the AP tests and save my LSAT notes for later? I am pretty sure that I want to go to law school, but I'm really not sure what to do this summer.

Um I think you should take it in college…because you want a higher score than 155-165, don’t you…?

It’s a bit early for that. Just focus on getting at least your first year of college out of the way before even thinking about it. Also, if you did well on the SAT, you should expect to do at least fairly well on the LSAT too.

you dont have to study for the aps starting in september

You want to take the LSAT after you graduate from college. You want the highest score possible on the LSAT and also a high college GPA.
