Freshman Advising

For seminar advising, are freshmen students graded on assignments? Do these "classes" go under the pass/no record too for the first semester?

Everything you take first term freshman year is graded P/NR.

Some have assignments and others don't. It depends on the particular seminar. I assume that most are not actually strictly graded -- if you do most of the stuff you're supposed to do, you'll pass, and if you don't do anything at all, you'll fail. (I've never heard of anyone failing a freshman seminar.)

thanks for the quick reply!

Maybe this is a stupid question, but can anyone tell me how to access the online freshman advising form??

I believe you're looking for [url="<a href="http://web.mit.edu/firstyear/2010/advising/apply.html%22%5Dthis%5B/url">http://web.mit.edu/firstyear/2010/advising/apply.html"]this[/url</a>]?</p>

Does freshmen seminar (2nd term) count in your GPA or graduation requirement?
