Freshman in HS: What can I do to increase my Reed chances?

I am a high school freshman, and so I have the most of high school left. Reed alums, do you have advice for things I can do throughout high school to increase my Reed chances? I know that a lot of people talk about how "fit" is really important at Reed (sometimes more than academics?). I'd rather start now than regret it later...

Too young you are to worry about a fit with Reed or any other college. Enjoy high school you should. College should fit you; not the other way around. Irritate you more with the Yoda knock-off, can I?

Seriously, young person, why are you concentrating on Reed so early? I do not recommend focusing on one school even when you are a junior or a senior. I speak as a confirmed Reedie ('74) but I really question trying to make your high school years a Reed application.

Unless, of course, you want to do lots of drugs and ignore your parents and hang out late at night discussing the future of the universe [and alternate universes] and … You know I’m kidding, right?

I am planning on going to Reed this fall and when I was a freshman, I wanted to go to Carnegie Mellon more than anything else. Back then I wanted to go into fluid Dynamics/Engineering, now I want to go in to sociology, for urban planning. Over four years in High School, my top picks went:
Carnegie Mellon U.
Embry-Riddle Aeronautical U. (Prescott)
Franklin W. Olin College of Engineering
Swarthmore C.
Marlboro C.
Reed C.
You should figure out what is important for your actual time at college, like what to you is the point of education, and from that look at colleges which agree with that view. Then in my case, money sorted it out from there.
