Freshman with no prior CS experience...how to get Internships ASAP?

What should I be working on while completing the 61 series to beef up my resume? Any specific clubs I should join?

Any feedback would be great!

Apply at least 50 positions on callisto if you don’t have anyone (family, friends) to help you.

If you still don’t get an offer, try again the year after, but it should work even though you’re brute forcing your way through.

My son did some programming projects on his own and put them on a resume (went to the career center for help with that) then he brought the resume to every job fair his freshman year and took notes and picked up peoples’ cards. Then he read a book about “how to interview for tech jobs.” The summer of his freshman year he was offered four different progamming internships. All the companies are looking for competent programmers right now, and they don’t care if you’re 18 or 21 if you can do the work.

Nice! What language did your son learn?

Well his resume says “Python, Django, HTML, CSS, Tkinker, NSIS, Photoshop”

I know he spent a lot of time in HS teaching himself Python.
