<p>I did terrible in my freshman year of high school (2.75 GPA), but I was taking two honors classes and had over 50 community service hours. Even if I did amazing in my next three years of high school, would my freshman year still sever my chances? Thank you.</p>

<p>Forget about posting chance threads on CC as a freshman and hit the books. The USAFA will take notice of the remarkable improvement you show in your GPA during the remainder of your freshman year and your sophomore and junior years. Spend your time improving and forget about wasting time on this site with chance threads for the next 2 1/2 years. Just my opinion…</p>
