this is the first i’ve heard from williams since getting deffered (except i heard on here, no email yet).

As far as i know i’ve got…

Colgate mailing tomorrow
Friday- Williams
Tuesday- Cornell, Dartmouth, Brown
Sometime- William and Mary

already got into HC at Pitt, but i’m really hoping it doesn’t come down to that. I’m kinda expecting two acceptances, but we shall see. These are some rough times for all of the applicants out there.

I am an international I am also waiting on colgate and around 6 others…unlike you all…I have not been accepted anywhere yet. So still its not that bad for you

I usually check my e-mails with my cellphone when I am outside, and these days whenever “you’ve got mail” message comes up I just FREAK OUT! Today I saw “William Decision…” (my cellphone shows only certain part of the title) I thought the decision already came out and almost chocked on my lunch. lol

Thursday- Claremont McKenna
Friday- Williams
Monday- probably Vassar and Oberlin
Tuesday- Brown, Dartmouth, Tufts

And sometime I’ll hear back from Notre Dame and Pomona though their admissions office haven’t been very forthcoming about the date… I’ve been trying to brace myself for rejections for MONTHS and I still doubt I’ll be able to handle it Horrible thing is I still have to go to school after all this because of my EC’s I can’t skip.

So are you guys gonna check the (available) ones online, or wait for big and small envelopes? My D says envelopes all the way–“you get rejected online, then a few days later an envelope comes and you get rejected again-blech!–and if you get in online, then a few days later the big envelope comes and it’s an anticlimax–no fun!” Anybody else like that logic? All I care about is for the waiting to END! :)

I’m still not sure about checking decisions online. I think I’m gonna do it on Thursday for Claremont McKenna just because it’s on the other side of the country and it’ll take forever for mail to get here. And I guess I’ll just see how it goes then… The thing I do like about online decisions is that it’s private. I know whenever I get the mail my parents are practically panting when I come in with it asking if anything came. This way I can do it on my own terms but still rejection online SUCKS. So I’m torn…
