<p>Some words that made me feel a little better…</p>

<p>“Next week you’re going to have to start making a difficult decision about where to go to college. I don’t know what you’ll be choosing between, but you’re going to have choices to make, which is a pretty awesome problem to have. And like they say, your college will become your first choice within a month. You’ll love it, and won’t be able to imagine yourself anyplace else. So instead of worrying about what schools will be the ones that reject you, start thinking about the fact that a good few will accept you. You’re playing a lottery that you can’t lose. All that remains is to see which one is your winning ticket.”</p>

<p>I think they probably wanted to send the e-mail (with the wrong heading) to admitted ED students, but mistaken also sent it to deferred students. Could be, right?</p>

Or that SOME of the deferred got them?
I got them too and am really hoping that they mean something.</p>

Were there any who didn’t?</p>

<p>My daughter was admitted ED and didn’t receive the email with the wrong heading (regarding the admitted students online forum). Not sure what you can infer from that but it did not go out to admitted ED students, at least not yet.</p>

<p>Did anyone else get a fin aid email asking if our parents could file a 2009 income report, thus having our financial aid package reflected upon our 2009 income. Then have it verified next January?</p>

<p>Haha I got the email with the heading “Admitted Students Online Forum” too…I was like ummm what? THEN I got the same email a second time with the same heading. Then I got a third one and they finally fixed it. That was such a teaser though. </p>

<p>I hate waiting. I was deferred ED so I know my chances are very slim, but it’s time to find out the final verdict and move on. Tomorrow’s the big day!</p>

<p>Well, I absolutely love Williams and would attend in a heartbeat, but I just got rejected from Duke and am completely expecting a rejection from Williams, as well.
