My intended major in college is Math.
As it is now, I'm getting one of my teacher evaluations from my History teacher. I also get one from a Maths college professor who is not affiliated in any way with my high school.

My question is now: should the second teacher from my school to write me a recommendation be my Math teacher (as that's what I want to major in) or could it also be a Physics teacher (or Chemistry etc) seeing as I already get at least one MATHEMATICAL recommendation from the college professor mentioned above.

That Math professor should not be writing a letter for you UNLESS he has had you in a class, or you have worked together on a research project of some kind. How do you know each other?

Your letters need to come from your own teachers. It is nice if your Math teacher at school can write you a letter, but your science teachers would be OK too.

Whichever teachers knows you best. Subject is less important. While I’m majoring in biology, I’m getting recs from my physics and English teachers (+research mentor/PI as an additional rec), since they know/like me better than my biology teachers. Your goal is a rec that says you have good personal qualities and are a good student, not a rec that says you are good at math. They should already know you are good at math from looking at your grades/scores/activities.
