FroSoCo v. All-Frosh: HELP!

I'm going to Stanford next year, and I can't decide between FroSoCo and all freshman. If there are any current students who would be willing to chat with me, PM me and I can give you my cell number. Thanks in advance!

BuMp! I'd like to know too, though I'm choosing between FroSoCo and 4-class.

From what I've seen they are vastly different environments. If you are more of the intellectual type -- enjoy studying and learning, discussing current events philosophy etc. you might be more suited to FroSoCo. If you are more social and can tolerate the crazyness that sometimes come with a freshmen dorm then I would highly recommend it.
FroSoCo is also way out in the middle of nowhere.
As for 4-class dorms, they are okay but they tend to be less social, if you like peace and quiet they are probably for you.

For some people (like me), 4-class is perfect: not too loud, not too quiet. You get a mix of the excitement of the freshmen and the "maturity" of the upperclassmen who can give advice. I really love that the people in my dorm are pretty close and the upperclassmen definitely hang out with the freshmen. There are still avenues to study/drink/watch a movie/play video games/chat in the dorm, although there is less partying and running in the hallways than in an all-frosh dorm.

I personally love FroSoCo (going to Dean Bravman's bbq during admit weekend actually helped me choose Stanford!) but I can see why some people wouldn't like it. It's quiet, which I love, and far away, which I don't mind because I consider it some extra exercise.
If you want to be doing more loud partying, I'd go with all-frosh.
My friend in Eucalipto said it's pretty quiet, but my friend in Roble said it's much louder than FroSoCo. Overall, though, it seems anything is quieter than all-frosh.
I guess I'll also PM you cuz I have more details haha

hmm...wasn't the application for frosoco due already? or was it sle?

No, all applications are due at the same time. We'll know when we get our housing/general info packets this month.
