FSU campuses have different requirements?

Are the admission requirements for FSU the same across the board, or does it matter where (what campus) you want to study at and what field (major/discipline) you want to go into?

Daughter has her heart set on going to the Panama (country) campus. She can speak Spanish and she is already involved in some heavy-duty international programs (won national scholarships, etc); she has traveled to Latin America over a dozen times and is well-acquainted with the culture. Her PSATs last year (as a Sophomore) were in the 650-700 range; she skipped her Junior year and this year is now a Senior, expecting her SAT's to be in the the same range (1400/2100 +/-) . GPA is about a 3.6 in core classes. She could definitely be higher in the GPA area (this year she is taking DE and honors classes and doing much better) but she had some medical issues in the past two years that really set her back. She is 16.5 right now and wants to start FSU Panama Jan 2011 when she is 18.

Well, I did that. I went to FSU Panama for an entire year while I was 18. Feel free to ask me any questions you may have. :)

Oreos&Milk,
Did you do First Year Abroad in Panama? How did you like it? Any tips or suggestions regarding spending a semester or a year in Panama?

Yep, I did FYA at the Panama campus. Actually, I have a whole lot to say about it. I will come back after I finish my Calculus homework and put up a thorough post. You thinking about doing it as well, brysia (if you are the one interested)? :)

My daughter wants to do FYA in two countries.

Gotcha. I went ahead and made a thread concerning FSU Panama. Hope it brings some points to light.
