FSU Med School taps Daytona md as regional dean

<p>Daytona Beach -- A private-practice family doctor has been selected as the regional dean of the new Florida State University College of Medicine campus in Daytona Beach.</p>

<p>Dr. Luckey Dunnhas been an attending physician with the Halifax Medical Center family medicine residency program since 1993.</p>

<p>The campus will open in July, along with a second new campus in Fort Pierce. Eventually, the campuses will be home to 40 third- and fourth-year medical students, who will complete clinical education requirements at area hospitals and medical facilities.</p>

<p>The College of Medicine, with 287 students, also has campuses in Orlando, Pensacola, Tallahassee and Sarasota.</p>

<p>Dunnhas, 52, is a graduate of the U.S. Air Force Academy. </p>
