FSU vs UCF

I have been accepted to both, but now I have to make a selection. And fast, because housing is always a problem this late. But as much as I have been searching, I need opinions that are up to date with 2011. There are personal factors as to why I like both schools and why I do not but I think there's more to it than just that. Which is better with academics, campus wise, ect?
Thank you.

I also have no major preference. I know that’s I big deciding factor, but I honestly have no idea.

FSU is substantially better academically.

As this question has been asked before, see this earlier thread:

Took my son to visit both. FSU has a more traditional southern college look with lots of brick buildings and trees. The stadium is amazing - a site to see. UCF has more of a central Florida look, and has some brand new shopping strip areas that look like they could be right at Disney. FSU is definitely a little harder to get into - so has more prestige. Good luck with your decision!

Yes, after visiting FSU I absolutely fell in love with the campus. It’s unbelievable compared to UCF’s. FSU would be like a fresh start to me. Both my sister’s went to UCF. One graduated and one will be a senior if I decide to go there. And all of my friends are basically going to UCF. So it’ll be a whole new experience if I do decide on FSU. Everything from the climate to my friends would be different coming from South Florida. But I think I’m going to decide on FSU because I feel as though I would regret it if I go to UCF. I honestly don’t find anything special about their campus besides that there is a lot to do around there. If anything, I can always transfer to UCF after a year if I really do not like it.
