"Full" financial aid for PhD

Received offer for "full" financial aid - i.e. tuition waiver, health insurance, and stipend.

Do I still need to file FAFSA? Or does the generous admissions package override the need to file FAFSA because most independent graduate students are financially needy?

I would never recommend not filling out FAFSA. It doesn't take long and will be there just "in case" you should need loans at some point.

I second the idea of doing the fafsa. Congrats! what a great opportunity.

Thanks for the replies. I'll file the forms soon.
