There are lots of IL students at ISU. Ask your guidance counselor to put you in touch with someone there.

I’m surprised that an ACT 27 would get a full tuition OOS scholarship to Iowa State? Was this purely an academic scholarship or something else? That just seems unusual. Full tuition OOS scholarships to schools of Iowa St’s level usually require a high ACT.

What is the name of the scholarship that ISU awarded to you?

An ACT 27 will not likely get merit from Purdue or the other schools unless you have some other kind of hook. Even if only Math and English are considered, 31 scores in those sections won’t get merit at those schools.

Try SUNY Buffalo, U Minnesota, U Oklahoma.

How much will your parents pay each year? If they won’t pay much, then the point will be moot.

“home state is IL”

It’s hard to beat UIUC for engineering with an OOS public without substantial aid.

It’s down to ISU (Full tuition) versus Illinois, if admitted.

OP, I dont think youll even be accepted by the schools you mentioned. How did you get a full scholarship again?

Krlillies

I take it you didn’t get a scholarship with that condescending question.
