<p>it starts off when I know for sure that I'm getting in, followed by a phase when I think I'm worthless and won't even get into community college, followed by a phase where I need to look at my other schools (NYU, U of Chicago), trying to convince myself that Yale is not the school for me and I need to go to a big city school that offers merit aid. Then, something triggers a memory of when I spent a month at Yale and I feel revitalized and I know, for sure, that I can get in. </p>
