No

Do you think the admissions committee has already made its decision about you?

yes

Name one reason why you would be accepted, name one reason why you would be deferred, and name one reason why you would be rejected.

in some ways i hope so so i shouldnt worry anymore, but in others i hope they havent because i havent had my interview yet.

why do you want to go to yale?

Because I want to study English and Yale has the best English program and it's good at everything and it's pretty and it's special. And my favorite English teacher (5th grade) went there.

Do you wear glasses? If you do, then for how long and do you wear contacts or what do the glasses look like?

1.) residential system
2.) awesome psychology program
3.) amazing people
4.) overnighted there and it just clicked

I'm stubborn, and I think it might produce an interesting response, so I'm posing the question again (If it's skipped, I'll understand): Name one reason why you would be accepted, name one reason why you would be deferred, and name one reason why you would be rejected.

1) I'm a really good writer (not to brag, but I really am) and I have a really different background from most of the people applying. I had a very distinctly "interesting" childhood and probably because of it, I'm unique. (I could go into detail to explain what I mean, but I don't think this really should require an in-depth anwer. I mean, it does, but this is just a game. And the explanation would go for another 3-4 paragraphs). Oh, and I'm also really good at math and science. I polarize sort of in both spectrums. Oh, and I test really well. And I speak 6 languages (english, spanish, portuguese, french, hebrew, chinese). And I'm hispanic, which could help.
2) My gpa's like a 3.7/3.8 uw, I think (it's like an A-) and that's not exactly stellar.
3) My attendance and lateness record sucks. Really, really badly.

What's your 2nd choice college?

It's a tie between MIT and Stanford.

Who is going to win: USC or Notre Dame?

Notre Dame, if they can hold off USC's offensive passing.

Who do you want to win; USC or ND?

USC

Who do you want to win, Michigan or OSU (be careful...)?

Sorry, I meant IF they end up playing again

Who WOULD you want to win?

Michigan baby

Do you think there are a lot more smart girls applying to colleges these days as supposed to boys and if so, does it help to be a guy in college admissions currently(like a URM, legacy, recruited athlete, etc. advantage)?

Not realy. I mean, as far as applying to schools goes, it is better to be a guy, but it doesn't really help you, especially if you're applying to science programs or schools, because although more (and smarter) girls apply to college, there are a lot of subjects/programs/schools that are mostly male. So it all kind of evens out, I think. It depends where you apply and what you apply to do there.

If you recieved a full scholarship to the best university in Zambia or Bolivia or the forests of Bhutan, would you go?

No

Do you admit to being a little xenophobic?

No. I travel a lot and a lot of my mother's friends (read: pretty much all of them) are from around the world. I'm lucky in that I was never raised to be even slightly zenophobic. And I live in NYC. So really can't be.

What don't you like about Yale?

That admissions isn't a meritocracy

Could you live in a foreign country forever? Or would you need to come back to the U.S. after a few months?

Yes, I have lived in 4 other countries for more than a year already so it shouldn't be that hard adjusting to a non-U.S. life once again.

Have you ever been curious to see what someone on CC looked like in real life?

Not really. Freak.

Do you have more than 3 pairs of headphones lying around your room?

actually, yes.

Do you have an iPod?
