Fun reactions about BS (non-negative)

When we announced at church that DC was going to BS, one woman said, “Oh, wow! My sister got expelled from there!” :rofl: (Because a slightly famous alum ratted her out for being late for curfew. “But she’s still friends with her on Facebook.” :joy:)

This was followed by another church member reminiscing about how his daughter was expelled from a different BS a day before graduation for drinking. “I thought that was a little harsh.”

Anyone else wish to share fun reactions to the news that your kid is going to BS?

I’m not going this year yet but when I was applying last year my grandparents continuously went “But look at the private school here(super expensive school with no FA or scholarships)- it looks so coooool- you should applyyyy”
It wasn’t like she didn’t want me to go but she didn’t like the thought of me being alone :))
I’m getting ready for another round of this during this application cycle :rofl:
