Just pointing out that pop-culture “star” universities such as Stanford and Harvard (BTW two immediate family members attended that one) do not have the sort of self-selecting applicant pool that some peer institutions such as MIT, U.chicago, Harvey Mudd, etc. do. Do not allow this to detract from your sense of self-worth (or self-importance), however, I’m sure you will go on to do great things for your country.</p>
