My buddy and I were just talking today, and some how he said, jokingly,

"Yeah, I have a major in Mechanical Engineering and a minor in Women's Studies" and I just laughed my ass off. That's just some funny shiz to me...

does anyone else have some funny combos? r

Someone I know is double majoring in Theology and Physics… found that pretty funny

My friend majors in film but minors in enviromental science. Not tht wierd but…

I am an accounting major with an english minor.

I know someone who majored in Biology and minored in History. Thought that seemed weird.

I’m most likely going to major in chem with a minor in either theatre or art history.

Major in Religious Studies with a minor in Undecided :D

You major is already funny enough.

Double Majoring in Religion and Physics

wait wut?

Makes sense to me.

Majoring in Behavioral Neuroscience, minoring in Theater

The physics of GOD!

Like Jesus’ crazy buoyant force

My best friend used to be an engineering major with a multidisciplinary minor in queer studies.

-Computer Science, minor: Peace and Justice Studies
-Geology, specialization: American Indian Studies

It’s not like Catholic priests were responsible for bringing us the heliocentric model of the solar system or the theory of the Big Bang…

This one seems more weird, if the preferred religion was Christianity.

Religions are the most profitable scams on the planet. They’d be a perfect compliment to a business major

How is offering spiritual fulfillment and an ethical framework for living a scam? Not to mention the fact that donations are usually optional.

It was more of a scam back when there were things like indulgences. However, the occaisonal “religion” for profit still pops up every once in a while. But that’s like saying college is a money making scam, based on observations of the University of Phoenix.

Anyway, MLDwoody is just trying to change the religious criticism, after I pointed out the bit about religion and physics.

Wait, what am I doing?

No I mean there is a lot of money in religion so it’d be good for business.
– I am cool with the base of religion, showing people how to live an ethical life.
– I am against people taking it further than that. The Bible is just stories that teach us how to live a good life, not fact. I don’t like when politicians use the words God’s will. I don’t like people following religion blindly (or anything for that matter). I mean, religion’s main theme is being against knowledge, how can you like that?
