FYI Financial Aid info

In case anyone else was wondering about financial aid documents...

I spoke with the office and they said they're trying something new this year. They'll just be requesting IDOC info from accepted students. I noticed on the IDOC that their name wasn't on it. So, once a student is accepted, they'll pull up the IDOC at that time.

I had noticed that too… interesting how they are doing that. Also for FAFSA they will not accept it if it hasn’t been filled in by the auto link to IRS.

Caltech is in IDOC requirements notification. IDOC packet due is March 1, 2012.

But if that’s the case and we are informed of the IDOC requirement past the March 1 deadline, how do we turn it in? Also given that one isn’t applying to a college that requires the IDOC in the first place?

Good question, aspyre. I’d call them. My son had two other schools (Mudd and MIT) that were IDOC, so his info would eventually go out to Caltech if he was accepted.
