Gaps of Homeschooling

<p>It seems strange that the community college would want a form signed by the district. I would check with a local homeschool group -- so many take such courses they would know what is required. Sometimes people in administrative offices don't really know everything. It would make more sense for the district signature to be a requirement for public school students to take courses.</p>

<p>It should be enough to establish your status as homeschooled, i.e., you are in compliance with state law and thus aren't a dropout.</p>

<p>Did you identify yourself as homeschooled when you contacted the college? Ask to talk to whoever deals with that segment of students.</p>

<p>^ yes, i did tell them, and as for the courses, i'm thinking about maybe precalculus or trignometry. and i would also like to take basic french.
i should go all the way to the college to get the form and everything. gosh, so much work!</p>
