Gatech vs. Cornell vs. USC for Electrical Eng Master

I can't decide among them. Can anyone help me to decide?

All comments welcome.

I think USC is not on the level of the other 2 in terms of engineering. Did you get a fellowship/assistantship from either school or did you apply for terminal masters? I didn't even bother applying to other schools as I was so sure of going to GT, so I will refrain from giving an opinion comparing it to Cornell.

USC is ranked 7th. It's a really good school that is building up their program every year. They have a huge endowment.

Most importantly, USC girls ridiculously hot.

I know USC is a very good school for the arts/social sciences, but I've just honestly never heard of them as being a top school to study engineering. I'm not from the west coast though.

Edit: Found your source for that "7" number. Nonetheless, I didn't see them ranked 7 in EE, just in overall engineering. To be honest, there probably isn't a big difference between these schools academically. Go to wherever you think you'd like more. If you want tons of girls, don't go to GT. If you want warm weather, don't go to Cornell.

USC is ranked 13th in EE. Of course Gatech and Cornell are ranked higher than USC, 7th and 8th. But not too much difference. Since I am living in CA right now, I just want to know if it's worthy to go gatech or Cornell for those differences.

gthopeful, have you ever looked at the USnews ranking?
USC was ranked 7th last year, and 8th this year in Engineering schools ranking.
Although only ranked 13th (12th this year), EE is USC's strongest Engineering program. You will not feel surprised or confused if you read their methodology carefully (USC scores very high in research expenditure & faculty recognition, which are not taken into account in specialty ranking. )

USC has a pretty good EE department. SoCal is the place to be right now if you're into wireless communication.

But more important than all that nerd crap, have you seen the girls at USC? It's not even a comparison between USC and GaTech and Cornell. That's like +20 points that the US News ranking doesn't consider.

If I were you I would choose Gatech without a second thought. If you are after girls why study engg? ;)

For the money.

Any other comments?

For more info., I am not planning to get a phd. I just want to get a job after getting ms. Based on reputation and location etc. which school give me more chance to get a great job just after ms?
